Questions about integrations
01 Does the WhatsApp bot manage bookings while I'm with a client?
Yes. The bot operates completely independently. You set up available slots, the deposit amount and responses once. From then on it handles WhatsApp without interrupting you — day, night and weekends.
02 Can I use Google Calendar without losing my Marai schedule?
Perfectly. The sync is bidirectional — bookings from Marai appear in Google Calendar, and Google Calendar blocks are respected in Marai. Two tools, one single schedule state, zero conflicts.
03 Does Stripe charge anything on top of their standard fee?
No. Stripe applies their standard fee (1.4% + 20p in the UK, varies by country). Marai adds zero commission on top. What Stripe charges is exclusively Stripe's.
04 Does Zapier need a paid account to connect with Marai?
Zapier's free plan includes up to 5 active workflows — enough to get started. For higher volumes you'll need their paid plan, but the connection to Marai is free on all Zapier plans.
05 What happens to my data if I disconnect an integration?
Nothing. Disconnecting an integration stops future syncing but doesn't delete any existing data in Marai or the other tool. You can reconnect at any time and everything continues where you left off.
