How does it work?

  1. 1 A client books an appointment (via WhatsApp, portal or manually).
  2. 2 Marai automatically schedules reminders based on your configuration.
  3. 3 24 hours before, the client receives: "Reminder: your appointment is tomorrow at 17:00. Reply Yes to confirm or No to cancel."
  4. 4 If they confirm, the appointment is marked as confirmed in your calendar.
  5. 5 If they cancel, the slot is freed and the waitlist is activated automatically.
  6. 6 1 hour before, a final reminder is sent to those who haven't confirmed yet.

When are reminders sent?

By default, 24 hours before and 1 hour before the appointment. You can customize the times from the dashboard: 48h, 24h, 12h, 2h or 1h before.

Does each WhatsApp message cost extra?

Email reminders are included in all plans. WhatsApp reminders are included from the Starter plan (€29/month).

What happens when a client cancels after receiving the reminder?

The slot is automatically freed in your calendar. If you have the waitlist enabled, the next client receives a notification to take that slot.

Can I customize the reminder text?

Yes. You can edit the message, add specific instructions, include your business address or any relevant details for each type of appointment.
