What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They serve to ensure the technical operation of the service, remember your preferences and analyse site usage. This policy complies with Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
Legal basis for processing
Technical cookies: legal basis in Art. 6.1.b GDPR (performance of the service contract) and Art. 6.1.f GDPR (legitimate interests of the controller). Consent is not required pursuant to Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE.
Analytics cookies: legal basis in Art. 6.1.a GDPR (data subject's explicit consent). They are only installed when the user expressly accepts in the cookie banner.

* Analytics cookies are only activated after your explicit consent in the cookie banner. If you decline, they are never installed. Google Analytics 4 operates under Consent Mode v2: while consent is withheld, no identifying data is sent to Google.
Additionally, we use Umami as a complementary analytics tool. Umami works without cookies and does not track personal data, so it does not require consent. Marai does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Nota sobre dominio: Session and Stripe cookies (session, stripe.mid) are only set on app.maraiagenda.com, not on this landing page.
Local storage: We store marai_cookie_consent and marai_cookie_analytics keys in localStorage to remember your consent preference. These are not cookies and never leave your device.
International data transfers
Analytics cookies involve data transfers to third parties outside the European Economic Area (EEA), covered by the following safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR:
Google Analytics 4: controller Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Transfer covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), in force since July 2023.
Microsoft Clarity: EEA controller Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Transfers to Microsoft Corporation (USA) are carried out under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission (Art. 46.2.c GDPR).
How to manage cookies
You can withdraw or modify your consent at any time by clicking the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of this site. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it (Art. 7.3 GDPR).

Rights and complaints to the supervisory authority
In accordance with the GDPR and LOPDGDD, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection to processing by writing to [email protected].
If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with applicable regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), the competent supervisory authority, at www.aepd.es.
Updates to this policy
Marai will review and update this policy whenever new cookies are installed, analytics providers change or the conditions of the third parties involved vary. Material changes will be communicated via the consent banner, which will request your approval again when necessary.
