What is the Stripe payment integration?
It is a direct connection between Marai and the Stripe payment gateway that automatically charges your clients when they book an appointment. Supports credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Funds are deposited directly into your bank account.
- Maximum security (PCI-DSS Level 1): The highest security standard in the payments industry. Card data never passes through Marai's servers. Everything is processed directly in Stripe with end-to-end encryption.
- Competitive fees: Just 1.5% + €0.25 per transaction in Europe. Marai adds no additional surcharge. You only pay what Stripe charges.
- Direct deposits: Money goes directly to your bank account, with no intermediaries. Stripe deposits funds on a 2 to 7 business day cycle.
- Automatic refunds: When a client cancels within the allowed window, Marai automatically executes the refund according to your cancellation policy. No manual intervention required.

Does Marai charge any commission per payment?
No. Marai does not charge any commission on payments. You only pay the standard Stripe fee (1.5% + €0.25 in Europe).
Can I charge only a deposit instead of the full price?
Yes. You can configure the deposit percentage per service: 20%, 30%, 50% or 100%.
What happens if the client cancels?
Marai automatically processes refunds based on the cancellation rules you configure.
